Each week we will be focusing on one chapter of our current book. The hope behind our book study is to get us thinking, talking, and trying out new things. Spend time during your plan time throughout the week discussing the week's chapter with your teammate, then post your thoughts on our blog. You can post as a team or individually. Make sure to check back throughout the week to respond to others, and to see who has responded to you.
Although there will be questions posted about each chapter, do not feel like you need to answer every one. The main thing is to think about what you connected with and how it might impact your classroom.
Things to think about as you read and when you post:
Book-Head-Heart
~ Book: What does the author want me to know? What is this chapter about?
~ Head: What surprised me? What changed, challenged or confirmed my thinking? What did I notice?
~ Heart: What did I learn about me? How will this help me be better?
